Setting up a wellness area – steam bath and shower area

As part of this project, we installed a completely new steam room and renovated two shower rooms that needed a modern and fresh look. The aim was to upgrade the premises without extensive construction work.

Instead of completely removing the original small tiles, we opted for an innovative solution in the form of aluminum panels that can be elegantly applied directly over the existing tiles. The panels allowed us to preserve the original structure , shorten construction time, and simultaneously create a clean , modern replica of the new tiles .

At the hotel's request , the original color scheme was retained ; only the spa area was repainted , giving the interior a fresh look. The remaining tiles also remained unchanged to preserve the room's character.

The work focused primarily on the central island and the shower areas , where a new surface treatment using an epoxy system was applied . This ensures water resistance, easy maintenance, and a long lifespan , which is crucial in a wellness area.

The result is a functional wellness area that respects the hotel's original design while meeting high standards of aesthetics and technical design.
